Primary Picassos Heed Assembly’s Call for Art

27/02/2012

by: Assembly Round Up

The Northern Ireland Assembly Art Competition aimed at all Key Stage 2 pupils, which was launched earlier this year, is still taking entries.

We are pleased to say that since the competition opened in January, Northern Ireland pupils have heeded our call and have been etching, sketching, drawing and painting a whole array of impressive creations!

If your school or indeed a school you know would like to get involved then all you have to do is submit an original piece of art on one of two themes – ‘My World’ or ‘Remembering the Titanic’. Information on competition rules and some top art tips are also available on the Northern Ireland Assembly Education Website - http://education.niassembly.gov.uk/

Our Gallery is filling up but we certainly have room for a few more masterpieces so get those thinking caps on and remember the closing date for all entries is Friday 9 March 2012! Good Luck.
