The Assembly Committee for Social Development held a special Stakeholder event on September 22 where Members met with a range of Voluntary Sector groups from across Northern Ireland.
Among the Groups at the event were Age NI, Save the Children and the Rural Community Network. They took the opportunity to speak to the Committee about their work and the specific challenges their organisations face.
It’s not always possible for Committee members to meet individual groups. An event like this is an excellent opportunity for the Committee and groups to get together and talk about the big issues.
