Committee for Finance and Personnel Meeting - 09 April 2014

The Committee for Finance and Personnel met at 10.00 am on Wednesday 9 April in Room 30, Parliament Buildings.

The Committee were briefed by officials from the Department of Health, Social Services and Public Safety on the Northern Ireland Audit Office Report on Sickness Absence in the NI Public Sector.

The Committee were briefed by officials from the Department of Finance and Personnel (DFP) and the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Investment about the outcome of Phase II of the Air Connectivity Study. A briefing was also provided by DFP officials on a potential Legislative Consent Motion relating to changes in the Air Passenger Duty bands for long-haul flights.

DFP officials then briefed the Committee on the Review of Fiscal Powers and the Review of Aggregates Levy.
