The Committee for the Environment is meeting at 10am on Thursday 5 December 2013 in the Senate Chamber, Parliament Buildings, when it will receive a briefing by Lord Deben, Chairman of the UK Committee on Climate Change.
Officials from the Department of the Environment will brief the Committee on the consultation process on draft guidance for the selection and designation of marine conservation zones (MCZs) in the Northern Ireland inshore region.
This will be followed by oral evidence sessions on the Local Government Bill from the NI Local Government Association (NILGA) and from the NI Public Service Alliance (NIPSA).
