Employment and Learning
Welcome to the Home Page of the Committee for Employment and Learning. The committee was established to advise and assist the Minister for Employment and Learning, Dr Stephen Farry MLA, on matters within his responsibility as a Minister. The committee undertakes a scrutiny, policy development and consultation role with respect to the Department for Employment and Learning and plays a key role in the consideration and development of legislation. The Committee Chairperson is Robin Swann MLA.

The Committee for Employment and Learning will meet at 10am on Wednesday 11 December in the Senate Chamber, Parliament Buildings.
Officials from the Department of Employment and Learning (DEL) will brief the Committee on the January 2014 monitoring round, and also on the Economic Inactivity Strategic Framework.
The Committee will also receive a briefing from CLIC Sargent on its report “No Teenager with Cancer Left Out”.
