2. Danske Bank – Financial Crisis in Farming

The following representatives from Danske Bank joined the meeting at 2.02 p.m.

John Henning, Head of Agricultural Relations

The representatives briefed the Committee and this was followed by a question and answer session.

2.40 p.m. Mr McCarthy joined the meeting.
2.50 p.m. Mr McMullan left the meeting.

3. Ulster Bank – Financial Crisis in Farming

The following representatives from Ulster Bank joined the meeting at
2.55 p.m.

Ian Jordan, Director of Corporate Banking Division
Cormac McKervey, Head of Agriculture
Richard Ramsey, Northern Ireland Economist

The representatives briefed the Committee and this was followed by a question and answer session.

3.25 p.m. Mr Irwin left the meeting.
3.35 p.m. Mr Irwin re-joined the meeting.

4. Bank of Ireland – Financial Crisis in Farming

The following representatives from Bank of Ireland joined the meeting at 3.41 p.m.

Alan Bridle, UK Economist & Market Analysis Manager
Ciaran McGivern, Head of Business Banking Northern Ireland
William Thompson, Agriculture Manager for Northern Ireland

The representatives briefed the Committee and this was followed by a question and answer session.

3.50 p.m. Mr McCarthy left the meeting.

5. Date and time of the next meeting

The next meeting of the Committee for Agriculture and Rural Development will take place on Tuesday 2 July 2013 at 1.30 p.m. in Room 30, Parliament Buildings.

The meeting adjourned at 4.26 p.m.
