Equality Screening and Equality Impact Assessments (EQIAs) 2012-2013
The Assembly Commission’s Equality Scheme outlines how we propose to fulfil our statutory duties under Section 75. Within the Equality Scheme, the Commission gave a commitment to equality screen all new and revised policies in order to identify the impact the policy may have on any of the nine Section 75 groups. If a policy is found to significantly impact on any of the groups, then the Commission will carry out an Equality Impact Assessment (EQIA). The Commission will publish details quarterly of all screening carried out and welcome any comments.
