Access Arrangements from Parliament Buildings for the Diamond Jubilee Party

Background

1. The NIO will hold an event to mark the Queen's Diamond Jubilee on the Stormont Estate on Wednesday 27 June.  The event will take place across Stormont Estate, including the front lawns of Parliament Buildings.

2. Those ticket holders coming from Parliament Buildings who have already been through the NIA search facility will be able to access the Jubilee event via entry points to the lawns at the bottom of the front steps.

3. Access to the event will be from 11am.

4. If people wish to return to Parliament Buildings they must receive a search ticket from NIA security staff as they pass through the gates to the lawns. Ticket holders will not be able to return to Parliament Buildings without presenting a valid search ticket.

5. Access to the balcony will not be available due to security restrictions.

6. This event will cause a certain level of disruption, but it this will be kept to a minimum. Thank you for your patience and co-operation.
